Meynardo Sabili

Meynardo A. Sabili , native of batangas, is a politician and businessman, and also a Master's Degree holder in the field of Law. Meynardo A. Sabili has served three consecutive terms as Provincial Board Member in the 4th District of Batangas, and also has served as Mayor of Lipa City, Batangas for three straight terms, beginning 2010 and ending in 2019. Notably, his first victory was a landslide victory over the incumbent Mayor in 2010, leading the polls by over 16,000 votes. This made Mayor Meynardo A. Sabili the first candidate in Lipa City to deprive a City Mayor of a consecutive term in office. Sabili is known for his people-centered service, having established the Ospital ng Lipa, a hospital ran locally by the City Government, which offers its services free to citizens. He can also be remembered to have improved scholarship grants, with over 80,000 scholarships granted under his rule. Among many other achievements, the City of Lipa has seen an increase in its annual budget from 800,000 Million annually in 2009, a year before his commencement, and to well above 2,000,0000,000 at the conclusion of his term in 2019. He has been a recipient of over 200 awards as City Mayor of Lipa, granted both by private and governmental organizations. Having ran and lost the Congressional race in 2019, Meynardo A. Sabili recently completed and he will graduate from the UST Graduate School of Law Master’s Degree Program and a candidate for valedictorian and Summa Cum Laude of Batch 2020, with an estimated average of 98% with utmost humility.
