Md. Abdus Shahid

Mohammed Abdus Shahid (মোঃ আব্দুস শহীদ) is a Bangladesh Awami League politician and the incumbent Member of Parliament from Maulvibazar-4.

Early life

Shahid was born on 1 January 1948. He completed his Masters in Communication.[1]

Career

Shahid was elected to Parliament in 1991, 1996, 2001, 2008 and on 5 January 2014 from Maulvibazar-4 as a Bangladesh Awami League candidate. He was the previously the chief whip of the opposition when Awami League was the opposition party.[2][3] Abdus Shahid was also the former President of Moulvibazar District Awami League.
