McCowan baronets

The McCowan Baronetcy, of Dalwhat in the County of Dumfries, is a title in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom.[1] It was created on 26 June 1934 for Sir David McCowan. The third Baronet did not successfully prove his succession to the title and the fourth and (as of 2007) present Baronet has also failed to prove his succession and is not on the Official Roll of the Baronetage, with the baronetcy considered dormant.
