Masjid-u-Shajarah

Masjid ash-Shajarah (Arabic: مَسْجِد ٱلشَّجَرَة‎, lit. 'Mosque of the Tree') is located at Dhul-Ḥulayfah (مِيْقَات ذُو ٱلْحُلَيْفَة), one of several Miqats (places where the ihram is put on) for Muslims on pilgrimage to Mecca for 'Umrah or Ḥajj, near Medina in the Hejaz, Saudi Arabia.[1] Abyār ʿAlī (Arabic: أَبْيَار عَلِي‎, romanized: Spring of 'Ali) is the name of a place where Masjid-ush-Shajarah is situated, 7 km (4.3 mi) outside Medina in Dhul-Hulaifah. The Islamic Nabi (Prophet) Muhammad entered the state of devotion and put on Ihram here before performing Umrah, after the treaty of Hudaybiyyah.[2]
