Biography

Representing her native state of Chiapas, Edelmann competed in the national beauty pageant Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2008, where she obtained fifth place among thirty-two other contestants, thus making her the first Chiapan to go so far in the national contest. She was crowned in Chiapas by the outgoing Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2007 titleholder Rosa María Ojeda of Sinaloa and Nuestra Belleza Chiapas 2007 Natalia Ruiz. Edelmann represented her country in the international Reina de la Costa Maya 2009 pageant, held in La Isla Bonita San Pedro, Belize, on August 7 that year. Despite being one of the favorites to win the crown, she made the semifinals, ending her participation as the second runner up of the year.

She graduated from Televisa's Centro de Educación Artística. In 2008, she participated in the video "Yo soy Chiapas", where she shares the camera with artists such as Reyli and Lourdes Munguia. She represented Mexico in the Miss FOX Sport 2010, where she was a semifinalist.
