Marianna Pensky

Marianna Pensky is a Professor at the University of Central Florida.[1] Her research interests lie in the areas of theoretical and applied statistics. Her research is currently supported by the National Science Foundation.[2]

She is a Member of the Board of Directors of the International Society for NonParametric Statistics (ISNPS).[3]

She is a member of the International Statistical Institute (since 2011).[4]

She is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Statistical Planning and Inference.[5]

In 2008-09 she won the UCF Research Incentive Award (RIA). In 2006-07 she won the Teaching Incentive Program (TIP) award.[6]

She is author of The Stress-strength Model and Its Generalizations: Theory and Applications (World Scientific Publishing, 2003).
