Marcus Pedo Vergilianus
Marcus Pedo Vergilianus was a Roman senator of the second century. He was consul in the year 115 with Lucius Vipstanus Messalla as his colleague.[1]
Vergilianus was killed early in his tenure by an earthquake in Antioch. The emperor Trajan, who was also in the city preparing for a campaign against the Parthians, barely missed being killed himself by the earthquake.[2] Vergilianus was replaced by the suffect consul Titus Statilius Maximus Severus Hadrianus.
