Marcus James
Markus James is an American blues singer, songwriter and guitarist. With his band Markus James and the Wassonrai, he mixes the American style with traditional sounds of the Wassoulou and Sonrai peoples of Mali. According to ethnomusicologists, the music of these ethnic groups constitutes the earliest roots of the blues.
