Marco Mellino

Marco Mellino is the Titular Bishop of Cresima[1] and Adjunct Secretary of Council of Cardinals to assist in the governance of the Universal Church and to reform the Roman Curia.[2][3][4][5]

Marco was born on 3 August 1966 in Canale, Italy.

Priesthood

On 29 June 1991 he received his holy order of priesthood from Bishop Giulio Nicolini.

Episcopate

Marco was appointed adjunct secretary of the Council of Cardinals and Titular Bishop of Cresima by Pope Francis on 27 October 2018. He was consecrated on 15 December 2018 at Alba Cathedral. Cardinal Pietro Parolin was the principal consecrator and Bishop Marcello Semeraro and Bishop Marco Brunetti were co–consecrators.[6]
