Coaching career
In September 2007 and combining it with the university, Cascallana was fortunate to be part of Las Rozas as coach of one of their Benjamines teams at the same time as acting as a player in the first team of the same club that was active in the Third Division of Spanish football. At his local club he spent three complete seasons, and in August 2010, and due to his transfer to the English capital due to his training as a student, he was part of the lower categories of West Ham United as assistant coach of the U-16 team.
After the West Ham career he returned to Madrid in 2011 to be part of the Atlético de Madrid Academy, this time as head of Physical Preparation in the Prebenjamin-Benjamin-Alevin categories. At the same time, he trained a children's team at Rayo Majadahonda, being able to see first-hand how he works in the Majariega youth academy, one of the benchmarks in Madrid and national soccer. In Majadahonda he spent two seasons as a coach while working as a physical trainer at Atlético Madrid. He had the maximum qualification to work as a coach and physical trainer and it was time to choose the path.
Then he decided to start his career As a coach in 2015 in a team of fans in the Community of Madrid, the CDE Olímpico Amistad Alcorcón. Undoubtedly a unique experience where we get the best historical classification of the club and a place to grow and mature as a coach and as a person surrounded by incredible human beings. In 2015 he returned to Atlético Madrid as a Wanda International project coach; there he worked as an individual and specific development of the Chinese soccer player, sports component of international projects, responsible for national (Las Palmas) and international (Japan) campuses and clinics, assistant international coaches in the visualization of the training of the first team and other sets of the academy as well as teaching of the planning and methodology given by the club and all its teams, and he stayed there to 2018.
In 2019 he appointed as the assistant coach of Indian Super League club ATK under Antonio López Habas[5]. When habas was suspended in some games he was taken the charge of the team[6].In 14 march 2020 ATK won Indian Super League final by beating (3-1) Chennaiyin fc he was also with them as assistant coach[7].
