Manjunatha BA LLB

Manjunatha BA, LLB is a 2012 Indian comedy Kannada film written and directed by actor-turned-director Mohan Shankar. The film stars Jaggesh and Reema Vohra in the lead roles.[1] The film is a remake of 2007 Malayalam hit Hallo starring Mohanlal and Parvati Melton which itself was loosely based on 2004 movie Cellular. A. Ganesh has produced the venture under Gowramma Productions studio banner[2]

Critical reception

Manjunatha BA LLB received mixed reviews from critics upon its release. Rediff rated the film 2.5/5 and commented "Though there are too many characters, which leaves one confused, Manjunatha BA LLB is a watchable film.".[3] However, IBN Live gave a negative review to the film adding that "Manjunatha BA LLB' is sure to disappoint you if you are looking for some good fun or entertainment. At best, it is just a unique combination of comedy, thrills and some good dialogues."[4]
