History

In 2009, Michael Seitzman formed its own company Michael Seitzman's Pictures, and signed an exclusive deal with ABC Studios to develop projects, mainly for broadcast and cable.[1]

After a failed crapload of pilots, the studio successfully picked up its first television series Intelligence, and aired on CBS.[2]

In 2017, after the success of Code Black, the studio made its jump when they took over their duties of Quantico from its creator/producer Joshua Safran.[3]

Later the same year, the studio was rebranded to Maniac Productions and hired CBS employee Christina Davis as head of production.[4] Davis later left to join Starz in 2020.[5]
