Mahathma Gandhi College, Iritty is one of the educational institutes in Iritty. It operates under The Cooperative Education Society Of Iritty, Kerala, an autonomous body under the Government Of Kerala. The college started functioning on 13th July 1995.Initially college was affiliated to Calicut University.At present the college is affiliated to Kannur University.The college is Accredited by NAAC with 'A' grade in 2016. The college offers bachelor's degrees in three main subjects: commerce, physics, computer science and mathematics. It also offers a post-graduate course in Mathematics.

Presently, Sri K. P. Noorudheen, an ex-Minister of Kerala, is the Manager and Dr. M. J. Mathew is the Principal.
