Mahanandi (film)
Maha Nandi is a 2005 Telugu action/drama film, directed by V Samudra, starring Sumanth, Anushka Shetty and Srihari in the Lead. The movie was released on 3 December 2005.[2] It was a moderate success at the box office. It was dubbed into Hindi as Ek aur Mahayudh, and into Malayalam under the title Ullasam.[3]

Plot
Swamy (Srihari) leaves Rayalaseema in his childhood with his sister when their parents were brutally murdered by a rival faction gang. Swamy later takes his revenge, and becomes a powerful don when he grows up. Bhaskar is the leader of rival faction group, who operates from Charlaplly jail and his main aim is to kill Swamy.
Shankar (Sumanth) is an orphan raised by Swamy. Shankar is the body guard and right hand of Swamy. Nandini (Anushka Shetty) is the sister of Swamy. Swamy settles the marriage of Nandini with the son of Nayar (Kota Srinivasa Rao). Nandini doesn't like this proposal. To get out of it, she lies to Shankar saying that she loves another man, Kumar (Sai Kiran). She seeks his help in leaving home to marry Kumar. Shankar reluctantly agrees. Before leaving, Nandini writes a letter to Swamy saying that she is actually in love with Shankar and that they are eloping.
This letter creates a rift between Shankar and Swamy, who feels betrayed. Meanwhile, Nandini reveals to Shankar that she is actually in love with him, and not Kumar. Shankar is shocked. Bhaskar tries to take advantage of the rift between Swamy and Shankar. Meanwhile unknowingly, Shankar too falls in love with Nandini. The rest of the story is about how Shankar and Swami reconcile.

Audio of Mahanandi was released by Venkatesh at a function arranged in Fortune Katriya Hotel. The guests who came to this function include Srihari, Anushka, MS Raju, Kriishnamohan, Tammareddy Bharadwaja, ML Kumar Chowdary, Prabhas, B Gopal, Sai Kiran, Ram Prasad, Boyapati Srinu etc. Venkatesh released the audiocassette and gave the first unit to Prabhas. Madhura Entertainments label is distributing and marketing this audio. Hero Sumanth could not attend the function as he is stuck up with the work of Godavari film.[4]
