Lucius Papirius Mugillanus

Lucius Papirius Mugilanus was a Roman politician and Roman consul in 443 BC along with L. Sempronius Atratinus. The consulship was mostly peaceful, including renewing treaty with Ardea.

Consul

Lucius Papirius Mugilanus and L. Sempronius Atratinus were both elected consul in 443 BC. During their tenure, the consuls extended their treaty with Ardea. According to Livy this is the only reason why we know that they were consuls for that year, because they have not been found in other ancient text. Even though there was alarming threats of unrest from the neighbouring nations, foreign and domestic wise things were peaceful for both consuls.[1][2]
