Luca (band)

Luca was a Japanese visual kei rock band with Kazuki on vocals, Shuji and Jun on guitars, Toshi on bass guitar, and Ren on drums. The band was formed in 1994 by Kazuki, Shuji, and Toshi and later joined by Ren and Jun in 1996. They released their first demo tape in 1996. Their band name was originally stylized as LU+CA but was later changed to LU⊃A (ルカ). Their song "Ai wo shiruniwa hayasugita" from their Suicide EP was used as the ending theme song to the anime Sci-Fi Harry. They broke up in 2001 when members took on separate projects: Kazuki in a band called Grand Zero, Shuji in Quiet Life, Jun and Toshi in Croon, and Ren in Little Dove and Kaede. In 2005 and 2006, they held some reunion concerts together.
