The company was founded in 2009 when its founder was in a long distance relationship. This sparked his interest in teledildonics. In 2013, the first app-based sex toys, Max and Nora were launched. In 2015, Lush was launched with help of $100,000 raised on the IndieGogo.[3] Since then, Lovense has brought out a range of toys from vibrating butt plugs to ocsilating G-spot massagers.
