Liz Wheeler

While in high school, she began her career in media with the publication of her first political article, "Erring on the Side of Life".

Wheeler quickly went on to receive her Bachelor's degree with a major in Political Science and a minor in Homeland Security from Pennsylvania State University.

In 2013, Wheeler partnered with 13 other young conservatives to co-author and publish Young, Conservative, & Why it's Smart to be Like Us.[3] This work quickly rose to #2 on Amazon's Civics bestseller list.

Just two years later on October 26, 2015, Wheeler was introduced as the host of the primetime talk show Tipping Point with Liz Wheeler,[4] which airs weeknights at 9 PM ET/6 PM PT on One America News Network.[5] Wheeler's finale segment on the show, "Final Point,"[2] garners hundreds of millions of views every year.

In August 2016, Wheeler was named one of Red Alert Politics "30 under 30" conservative stars. That same year, Wheeler spoke at CPAC,[6] and the Steamboat Institute Freedom Conference. Wheeler currently speaks on college campuses and at student events across the country in partnership with Young America's Foundation,[7] and many of her videos from these events have millions of views on social media platforms.

In 2018, Wheeler was profiled by Politico magazine as a "titan" of conservative media alongside with Ben Shapiro, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Mark Levin, Tucker Carlson, Dana Loesch, and others. In the Politico profile, Wheeler explained why she chose a career in political media: "We're at a point that we're replacing God with government. So, instead of debating theology, instead of debating family, we're looking at government and looking to politics for the answers—and that's why everyone is so obsessed with it."[8]

Wheeler has frequently been rebuked by media accountability organizations such as Media Matters[9] and Snopes.[10] Wheeler is regularly fact checked by the two outlets for disseminating misinformation and propagating conspiracies.[11] Media Matters has alleged that many of her attacks on Planned Parenthood[12] and the Democrats' agenda[13] consist of false information.

After calling out Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's position about the Alabama abortion bill in 2019 and revealing how her congressional votes contradict her public statements, Wheeler was publicly blocked[14] by the Ocasio-Cortez on Twitter.[15]

On August 6, 2019, Wheeler published her first book, Tipping Points: How to Topple the Left's House of Cards, with Regnery Publishing.[16] The book quickly became a Publishers Weekly national bestseller. President Trump encouraged everyone to "buy the book" and "give Liz great reviews" on Twitter on March 24, 2020.[17]

Wheeler is a devout Catholic.[18]
