The following is a list of awards and nominations received by Cynthia Erivo. Since her Broadway debut on stage she received more than thirty nominations winning thirteen times. Thanks to her lead role on the musical The Color Purple she won a Tony Award, a Drama Desk Award and a Daytime Emmy Award. In 2018 she acted in Bad Times at the El Royale receiving a Saturn Awards nomination, but she rose in fame thanks to Kasi Lemmons's film Harriet, which gave her several accolades, including nominations at the Academy Awards, Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild Awards and at the NAACP Image Awards.

She is also a Grammy Award winner for Best Musical Theater Album, thanks to The Color Purple's soundtrack, and a Society of Composers and Lyricists Awards winner for Harriet's lead song "Stand Up".
