Xiaoyi also lied to his father, Shuntian that Xinxin has agreed to stay with the both of them after they wed. |

Xiuying saw from the news that a lonely woman die at home without anyone's knowledge and that aroused fear in her. As a result, she doesn't dare to stay alone at home and starting sobbing downstairs which got the neighbours frightened that there might be a ghost around. Shuntian also had a fall while chasing after a robber. Xinxin and Xiaoyi had to give up their honeymoon plans to go back and take care of their parents. |
| 11 | June 12, 2012 | Yiyi noticed that there are some unhappiness between Xinxin and Xiaoyi and arranged for the both of them to go to Xiuying's house for a meal to patch things up. Xinxin and Xiaoyi bought each other presents for that but unfortunately, Shuntian's diabetic condition may require him to amputate his leg. In order keep Shuntian company and make him happy, Xiaoyi had no choice but to disappoint Xinxin again. |
| 12 | June 13, 2012 | Xinxin and Xiaoyi have to stay separately with their parents in order to take better care of them. The two of them were invited to a birthday party but Xiaoyi has to give it a miss as he has to take care of Shuntian. In the end, Xinxin went to the party alone. Zhiguo saw Xinxin at the party and tries to take advantage of the situation by making advances at her. Xiaoyi managed to get Shuntian's friend to come over and look after Shuntian so that he can make it to the party. He finally got to dance with Xinxin but that made Zhiguo jealous. |
| 13 | June 14, 2012 | Xiuying thought that Xinxin and Xiaoyi intends to desert her when she found out that the two of them are looking to buy a place of their own. She told Zhiguo about it and Zhiguo insinuated that it must be Xiaoyi's idea to get rid of her. That gave Xiuying a bad impression of Xiaoyi. When Xiuying suffered from stomachache due to the overdose of Chinese medicine bought by Xiaoyi for her high blood pressure, all the more she thought that Xiaoyi did it on purpose. |

Xinxin tries to make amends by asking Xiaoyi to try his best to get into Xiuying's good books but things turn out not what they expect resulting in more strain in their relationship and Xiaolian's miscarriage. Xinxin and Xiaoyi took stock of the things that happened after they wed and decides to separate from each other for the time being in order to make everyone happy. |

Xiaoyi promised to help Ruan Feng extend her visa so that she can continue to seek out her father. Ruan Feng's gastric pain made Xiaoyi and Shuntian took extra care of her and thereafter, Ruan Feng starts to see the both of them as part of family. |

She is sad that she has to return to Vietnam and so took the opportunity to take good care of Xiaoyi and Shuntian before her departure. Xinxin became jealous when she discovered Ruan Feng was staying at Xiaoyi's house and got along very well with Shuntian and Xiaoyi. |
| 17 | June 20, 2012 | Xinxin and Xiaoyi ran into Zhiguo in a pub. Zhiguo challenged Xiaoyi to a drinking contest and Xiaoyi's gastric pains resulted. Zhiguo dragged away a tipsy Xinxin when Xiaoyi was vomiting in the toilet. The two of them returned together the next day causing Xiaoyi to misunderstand the two of them spent the previous night together. Xinxin tries her best to explain but it fell on deaf ears. |
