This is a chronological list of cast for New York City Ballet co-founder and founding choreographer George Balanchine's Western Symphony, made to Hershy Kay's score. The premiere took place on September 7, 1954, at City Center of Music and Drama, New York, and was conducted by Leon Barzin.

- The Scherzo was removed ca. 1960 due to the complex nature of the male bravura dancing required.
- Due to illness or injury, Kathryn Morgan replaced Megan Fairchild in Western Symphony, Megan Fairchild having replaced Ashley Bouder in Symphony in C.
