List of Jubilees of British monarchs
The formal jubilees of British monarchs started with George III. At the start of the 50th year of his reign, his jubilee was celebrated throughout the islands of Britain and Ireland and his colonial possessions. Later monarchs added other jubilee years.[1]
For George III:
- Golden Jubilee of George III (1809)
For Victoria:
- Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria (1887, medal)
- Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria (1897, medal)
For George V:
- Silver Jubilee of George V (1935, medal)
For Elizabeth II:
- Silver Jubilee of Elizabeth II (1977, medal)
- Golden Jubilee of Elizabeth II (2002, medal)
- Diamond Jubilee of Elizabeth II (2012, medal)
- Sapphire Jubilee of Elizabeth II (2017)
