Linda Välimäki

Linda Välimäki (born 31 May 1990) is a retired Finnish ice hockey forward and will serve as head coach of the Ilves for the 2020–21 Naisten Liiga season.[1] She played in 167 matches with the Finnish national team and won bronze medals at the 2010 and 2018 Winter Olympic Games and at the 2015 and 2017 IIHF Women's World Championships, and a silver medal at the 2019 IIHF Women's World Championship. Several months after achieving her career highlight silver medal at the 2019 Worlds, Välimäki announced her retirement from top athletic competition.[2]
