Lily M

Mavis Akuamoah Boateng (born September 11, 1977), better known as Lily M, is a Ghanaian Afropop musician[1] and an activist.[2]

Early Life and career

Lily M was born and raised in Kumasi in the Ashanti region and hails from Asomanso in Kwabre district. Lily is a buddhist by religion, she started singing at the Soka Gakkai International since her childhood.[3]

LILY M launched her full music career after graduating from CBS. In 2013, she released her first album ("Africa Great Continent") featuring both local and international artists, She has further released singles like "Find your voice" and "Danse"

Lily M's major breakthrough was with the release of her singles ("Strength of a Woman ft Sherifa Gunu" and "Rhythm of Life ") which she promoted as songs of peace and female empowerment.[4] She promotes herself as a proponent of Peace, Culture and Unity.[5][6]

Personal life

Lily M is married to Mr. DK Sintim-Aboagye, the executive producer of her record label, STIMA RECORDS.
