Lee Ann Whippen
Lee Ann Whippen is an American chef and BBQ pitmaster.
Early life
Lee Ann Whippen is originally from Tampa Bay, Florida.[1]
Career
Whippen is the past pitmaster at Chicago Q.[2] After leaving the restaurant, she founded Southern Cut Barbeque in Chicago.[3] In 2019 Whippen won the Food Television reality show BBQ Brawl: Flay v. Symon.[4] In 2020, she was named a semi-finalist for the National BBQ Hall of Fame.[1]
