Kyungdong University
Kyungdong University is a private University in northeastern South Korea. Its campus is located in Yangju City, Wonju City, Goseong City, Gangwon province. About 245 instructors are employed. The current president is Seong-yong Chun (전성용).

Academics
Undergraduate offerings are provided through five divisions: Humanities and Social Science, Food Science, IT, Tourism, Health and Nursing, and Education. Separated 3 Special Campuses of 33 department.
History
The college opened its doors in 1981, under the name Sokcho Technical College (속초전문대학). The Dong-U name was adopted in 1983. The "technical" part of the name was dropped in 1998, when standards for institution naming were relaxed. Dong-U was taken over by Kyungdong University in 2012.[1]
