Kunjali Marakkar School of Marine Engineering (KMSME) is a marine college located in Cochin, Kerala, India. Located on the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) campus, KMSME started its first batch of 4-year B-Tech marine engineering programme in 2003. It is the only marine engineering training institute that is under the direct control of a government university.
Description
Admissions are available through a common admissions test administered by CUSAT. The college offers students a variety of courses in seamanship and shipping focusing on pursuing careers as engineers in the merchant navy.
Kunjali Marakkar School of Marine Engineering (KMSME) is one of the Marine Engineering training institute under direct control of a government University like Indian Maritime University. This department functions under the aegis of Directorate General Of Shipping, Govt of India, Mumbai. Located in the heart of Cochin University Campus, KMSME started its first batch of four years B-Tech Marine Engineering course in 2003. The presence of various departments with their research wings enables the cadets. This institution offers both BTech and MTech courses.
