Istra 1961

On 28 October 2018, Rendulić was appointed the new manager of Croatian First Football League club Istra 1961, succeeding Curro Torres at that position.[1] On 4 March 2019, following the series of poor performance - seven defeats in eleven games, he terminated the contract.[2]

On 20 June 2019, Rendulić was named the new manager of Croatian Second Football League club HNK Šibenik, where he had played for two years in his professional career.[3][4][5]

On 17 August, he debuted as Šibenik manager in 3–2 home win over Hajduk Split II.[6] On 25 September, Rendulić led the club in its round of sixteen match of the 2019–20 Croatian Cup, which Šibenik won 5–1 over Slavonija Požega.[7] On 3 December, playing in the cup quarter-final match, Šibenik was defeated by Lokomotiva, which was leading by former Šibenik manager Goran Tomić, by a score of 0–4.[8]

On 20 May 2020, after the Croatian Football Federation had canceled the 2019–20 Second League season due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Croatia, Šibenik was promoted to the first tier of the Croatian football league system.[9][10]
