Kirkandrews

Kirkandrews (sometimes known as Kirkandrews-on-Esk to distinguish it from Kirkandrews-on-Eden), is a civil parish in City of Carlisle district, Cumbria, England. At the 2011 census it had a population of 493.[1]

The parish is bordered to the west and north by Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland; to the north east by Nicholforest, and to the south by Arthuret.[2]

There is a parish council, the lowest tier of local government.[3][4]
