Kimberly Metz

Kimberly Metz is an American film director, fashion, beauty, celebrity and advertising photographer based in Los Angeles, syndicated by Corbis Outline and Corbis Beauty.[1] Metz grew up in Pismo Beach and North Hollywood, California. At the age of 16, she received a Pentax camera as a gift from her father and began modeling at 19.

After a decade as a fashion model, working in places such as Milan, Paris, New York City, London, and various other countries, Metz returned to her creative roots and passion behind the lens.

By combining her industry knowledge and experience from modeling and love for photography, Metz started her photography career[2] in 1998. Metz found recognition when she photographed Arnold Schwarzenegger[3] for the cover of Cowboys and Indians and Oscar winner Jamie Foxx[4] and Jada Pinkett Smith[5] for the cover of Upscale Magazine in 2004. After 15 years of experience, she has perfected the art of retouching, compositing, graphic and layout design.

Photography

Metz's photography has been featured in the New York Post,[6] Forbes,[7] Essence,[8] Hamptons,[9] Viva Magazine,[10][11][12] LA Yoga,[13][14] The Chew,[15] People,[16][17] L.A. Confidential Magazine,[18] Modern Luxury Angeleno,[19] Nail Pro Magazine,[20] Pure Dope,[21] Ripetv[22][23][24][25][26][27][28] as well as junior and miss designers,[29] DVD and book covers.[30] Kimberly also donated her services to Flashes of Hope.[31]

She has shot numerous celebrities, musicians, and athletes, including Willie Nelson,[32] Rosario Dawson,[33] Roselyn Sanchez[34][35]Kim Glass,[36] Bryan Batt,[37] Jamie Chung,[38] Jeanene Fox,[39][40] Rick Fox,[41] Cheryl Hines,[42][43] Elisabeth Röhm,[44][45] April Kae,[46] Stacy Keibler,[47] Coby Bell,[48][49] Kim Kardashian,[50] Tyler Lepley,[51] Rolan Bolan,[52][53] and Denise Richards.[54]

She has also appeared on camera for Bravo as a judge and photographer for Manhunt,[55][56] as well as a photo expert on TLC's Faking It.[57]

Film

In 2012, Metz directed for the American Red Cross PSA campaign commercial for disaster relief featuring Elisabeth Röhm[58]

In 2013, Metz directed a music video for "We Found Love" by recording artist Vaja[59][60]

In 2015, Metz directed nine tutorial videos for Physician's Formula. Four of which are currently available on the Physician's Formula website.[61][62][63][64]

In 2015, Metz directed and shot the commercial for Moroccan Heritage with Iman Oubou.[65]
