Kim Kostron

Kim Kostron (born 19 September 1956 in Minnesota, United States) is a former American long track speed skater.[1] She represented the United States at international competitions.[2]

As a junior she became the world champion in 1977 in Inzell where she also set 2 junior world records.

She participated 5 times at the World Allround Speed Skating Championships for Women between 1976 and 1980 and four times at the World Sprint Speed Skating Championships for Women between 1976 and 1979. She won a 500m race at the 1977 World Sprint Championships. She was part of the 1980 American Olympic team but didn't participate.[3]

She was inducted into the National Speedskating Hall of Fame in Bloomington, Minnesota on 19 May 1996.[3]
