Haruko divorced and get remarried to Daisuke Imai, a widowed father to three children from a previous marriage(Kenichi, Rika, and Hiroshi) because his former wife passed away. After their marriage, Akane Nakanishi, Haruko's daughter joined and lived together with Imai Family. However, The family becomes worsened, stumbled, and sometimes had arguing, fighting and problem. During early episode of First Season, Daisuke's children dislike Akane and Haruko due of Akane's personality which they later reconciled and accepted them but not Rika because Rika is often dislikes Akane and Haruko.

• Haruko Imai (Haruko Tsumura)

A former motorcycle gang member which later become housewife. She is remarried with Daisuke Imai. In Season 5, Haruko didn't appear and she appeared as photo only in funeral because she killed in car incident along with Daisuke and their child, Mari.

• Akane Imai (Akane Nakanishi)

Haruko's daughter which was first appeared in near end of first episode on first season. She moved and lived together with Haruko and Imai Family. She has man-like and tomboyish character personality.

• Daisuke Imai

Haruko's Wife and Akane's stepfather. He widowed from his former wife because his former wife passed away and he remarried with Haruko. He is an elite who was graduated from a famous university and worked for a food company, he encountered restructuring and became an editor of a cooking magazine. In Season 5, Daisuke killed in car accident and appearing as spirit body which he only communicate to Hiroshi when Hiroshi come to Imai's residence.

• Tomoe Imai

Daisuke's mother and Haruko's stepmother, she was run a preschool education school that deals with preaching and gifted education which Haruko attend until season 4. In season 5, she moved to Taiyo Gakuen along with her grandchildren which they stopped study in regular school after Daisuke and Haruko along with Mari killed in car accident. She moved to Taiyo Gakuen as teacher.

• Kenichi Imai

Daisuke's first son and oldest child, Haruko's stepson and Akane's older stepbrother. He is smart, gentle and friendly. He was attended at regular school during first season but since Haruko comes and Kenichi bullied by Kosuke, he studied at Free School and sometimes attended at school for sometimes and test only. Since he studied in free school, he sometimes disobey school's rules such as wearing female school uniform in season 2, reading novel in season 3.

• Rika Imai

Daisuke's only daughter and second child, Haruko's stepdaughter and Akane's stepsister. She is smart and honor student much like her brother, Kenichi but she is very selfish, mean, and self-conscious. She often dislikes Akane and Haruko because of their personality. She thought Haruko and Akane often stumbled Imai Family. Most of times, she called Haruko "Haruko-san (Ms. Haruko)" instead "Mom". She is only Daisuke's child which she doesn't like her father's remarriage and she always love her previous mom, Mitsuko, which she always appear on Rika's frame photo. Rika was bullied during early episode of season 3 however she bullied her friend on few episodes on season 2 and season 3.

• Hiroshi Imai

Daisuke's youngest child, he is indecisive and immature. He was a genius who received prenatal and gifted education from Tomoe and his mother, Mitsuko since he was a fetus. Initially, Hiroshi, Rika, and Kenichi were being hostile to Akane and Haruko due of their personality, but they were reconciled except Rika. He sometimes like to shoplift.

• Mari Imai

The youngest children of the Imai family (Haruko and Daisuke's children, Akane, Kenichi, Rika, Hiro's half-sisters, Tomoe's grandson, Nobuhiko's nephew), She didn't speak in particular. but she started to speak occasionally in Part 4, Rika is only not loved to Mari. In Part 5, she died in accident with Daisuke and Haruko.

• Mitsuko Imai

Daisuke's Former Wife, she was passed away prior the series' event. Rika is close to her even she still appear in Rika's photos.

• Shinji Nakanishi

Akane's Father and Haruko's ex-husband, he was formerly truck driver.

• Nobuhiko Tsumura

Haruko's older brother and Akane's Maternal Uncle. He was formerly running construction shop in season 1 and 2 which later into his sandwich shop in season 3 and season 4. He has some similarities on personality like Haruko. He is single and unmarried.

• Shota Yamaguchi

Formerly gang leader of Haruko which converted become good person. He is Haruko and Nobuhiko's friend in one company.

• Yuya Kawakami

Akane and Rika's classmate which appear in Season 1 and Season 2.

• Junji Yamamura

Akane and Rika's Homeroom Teacher in Season 1 and 2 then Hiroshi's Homeroom Teacher in Season 3 and 4. He is usually bad or sometimes strict teacher who gives excessive guidance to students and pretends to look out even when bullying which sometimes makes Akane mad angered at him and kicked him several times causing he fall. He doesn't appear in season 5 because all of Imai's children have graduated.

• Kotaro Osawa

The principal of the East Nigigaoka Elementary School in Season 2 till Season 4. He was Tomoe's love interest.

• Namiki-sensei

Hiroshi's Homeroom teacher in Season 2 which she appears on few times. Her personality is extremely weak and unreliable which makes she unable to keep almost all of her students quiet and listen to her because her students were playing and creating noisy. Her personality and her character goes bad causing her class is turned into a state of class collapse which many of her students were playing and creating noise on the class that made Haruko was very disappointed and even her student shouting Haruko to get out of the class and make Namiki-sensei shy. She seemed to go to psychiatry. With the hospitalization decided, Kotaro Osawa replaced her for once because his teaching to stop class collapse is unsuccessful, Hiroshi's homeroom teacher was replaced by Kuroda-sensei and Namiki-sensei no longer appear.

• Kuroda-sensei

Hiroshi's later homeroom teacher in Season 2 which replaced Namiki-sensei because her class ruined and become state of class collapse. His personality is very strong unlike Namiki-sensei and very reliable even very fierce which he able to stop class collapse on Hiroshi's class and make his class returned to normal.

• Kosuke Numata

The bully who appeared in Season 1 has friends named Kubo and Watanabe (whose name is unknown). Kenichi was bullied thoroughly, they also raising money violently from Kenichi, and threatening everyone in the class to ignore Kenichi causing Kenichi stop attending at school due of Kosuke's behavior.

• Saori Akimoto

Rika's Best friend in her class from Rika's kindergarten. Her appearance was only in Season 1 and Season 2.

• Tsubasa Konno

Akane's first love interest and Rika's first love in early of his appearance on Season 2's episodes. Although he attended the health room for some reasons, he had excellent grades just like Rika and ability to strong fights, and his ability was the strongest among the boys in the play. his parents were divorced and raised by his father. In his early appearance of Part 2, he showed a sly, dark character and bad behavior. It was rehabilitated because of the help of his sister, Emi, and it became a personality and a strong sense of justice. He was appear in season 2 until season 4.

• Misa Kawada

Akane and Rika's Classmate in Season 2, She was born with natural brown hair, but she was not only accused by Yamamura-sensei, she was also bullied by Rika, Mayu, and Saori (all helped by Akane). After the bullying was resolved, Hiroshi was a younger brother of Rika who was bullying him when he fell near a school clog box. Therefore, her personality is very kind.

• Kōhei Wada

Hiroshi's classmate and bullying group leader who appeared in season 2 and 3. He mostly bullying Hiroshi together with Wada and Jun. He quit bullying after being defeated in a one-on-one match with Hiroshi at the end of Season 3 and preached to Shota.

• Jun

Hiroshi's classmate and he is one of the bullying group with Kohei Wada and Yusuke in Season 2 and Season 3.

• Yusuke

One of the bullying group with Kohei Wada in Season 2 and Season 3, he had different appearances, so his appearances are different. Like Jun, he stopped bullying after being preached by Shota at the end of Season 3.

• Yumi Ono

Hiroshi's first romance in Season 3. She was bullied by Jun and his friend because she being stupid and close to Hiroshi. She was called "fool" from Yamamura-sensei because he couldn't study hard and mostly get bad score. Her family's background was same as Imai Family.

• Ayumi Mizuno

Kenichi's first love target appearing in Season 3, she was first met with Kenichi in Free School when she was going to pick up her sister. She was bullied by Katsuo Ueda due of her relationship with Kenichi and then Ueda also assaulted her but stopped by Kenichi after Kenichi beat Ueda with lumber.

• Ippei Kazama

Akane and Rika's Classmate, he is bad guy in the beginning of the season 3 and he is the leader of bully gang of Ueda and Nishio. He was bullying Rika along with three Rika's classmate (which they had good relationship and stopped bullying her in later episode) and Akane along with some Akane's friend. He was reconciled by Akane after she wants Ippei apologizing to Ryota and helped his brother, he wanted to Ueda and Nishio to return Ryota's money but he was beaten by Ueda and Nishio causing they no longer befriend with Ippei. Ippei's parents was held a huge debt, which Shinji realized that Ippei is Akane's classmate during Shinji goes to Ippei's House which later Shinji helped them and also offer to him escaping debt collector without knowing Shinji's mate.

• Katsuo Ueda

A pretty vicious and delinquent student in Season 3, he mostly show his bad behavior such as rides a skateboard or a bicycle in the school corridor, he was bullying Akane and Kenichi, he tries smoking in Haruko's sandwich shop twice but he warned by Haruko and Nobuhiko which causing he disrespect them, he was bullying some of Akane's best friend and stealing money from Ryota and he beats him with a timber which Ippei tried to prevent him not to hit Ryota but unsuccessful because Ryota refused give money to him causing Ryota suffer severely injured and he along with Nishio beats Ippei because Ippei want to return Ryota's money. He also shoplifted a magazine in minimart which Akane warned to cashier. He also turning over Ayumi's skirt which she got mad and slap him causing he and Nishio brought and tried to assault her at the back of the shrine together with Nishio, but he was hit by Kenichi using lumber causing Katsuo's head severely injured and sending him to the hospital making Kenichi arrested by the police. In hospital, his mother were angry to Kenichi's parent when Ueda was injured and was quarreled, but later confirmed the truth and later acknowledged the son and reported damage to the injury. Kenichi was not charged and released because Ayumi told the truth about Katsuo's assault. When he was admitted to the hospital, he seemed to be annoyed by Kenichi who came to visit him.

• Nishio

Ueda's best friend. His personality same like Ueda, Although his parents were not mentioned. In addition, Nishio's parents apologize to Ryota, both of Ippei and Ueda's parents, when Ryota was beaten. When Ueda Katsuo hit severely by Kenichi, he is absent from school for a confusing reason to testify Kenichi to the police about Ueda's assault. After Ueda's hospitalization, he act as another group with another unknown junior high school student who behaving Tomoe disrespectfully and calling her "Old Goat" then he slapped by Kotaro Osawa.

• Osamu Yoshino

Akane, Rika, Tsubasa and Ippei's Homeroom Teacher in Season 3.
