Khushwant Walia is an Indian television actor.

Career

Walia worked as an assistant director on Siddique's 2011 action romantic film Bodyguard starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor. Khan suggested him to try television and he followed his instructions.[1] He eventually debuted into television,[2] and portrayed Rubal Deewan in Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara opposite the actresses Alefia Kapadia and Monica Khanna from 2012–2014.[3]

His second television series Gustakh Dil on Life OK, featured him as Arjun[4] followed by roles as Kabir Kapoor in Mere Rang Mein Rangne Waali and Raja Awasthi in Ishq Ka Rang Safed.[5] Walia next appeared as Aarav Bhardwaj in Sasural Simar Ka on Colors and portrayed Arjun Vyas in Zee TV's Piyaa Albela.[6]

The 46th episode of Laal Ishq starred him as Atul Singh Agnihotri alongside Shresth Kumar and Vindhya Tiwari in December 2018.[7] Some days later, Walia bagged cameo role of Raj in Naagin 3,[8] which was shown in January 2019.[9] Next, he played Yogi in the 71st episode of Laal Ishq and Ashraf in the 11th episode of Shaadi Ke Siyape on &TV[10] before he was roped in to star in the longest-running drama of Star Plus, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai portraying Mihir Kapoor.[11]
