Khati

Khati is an Indian caste.[1][2] Its members live mainly in and around the Malwa region.Its main language is malwi.

'KHATI' Means the one who works with wood. The Hindi word 'काठ' 'KATH' means wood, and the one who works with it called 'काठी' 'KATHI' which became later 'खाती' KHATI.
