Kensaku Oda

Major General Kensaku Oda (小田 健作, 1888 – 1943) was a senior officer of the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II.

He was the commanding officer of the 50th Infantry Regiment between 1938 and 1940, before being promoted to the commanding officer of the infantry group of the 26th Division. In 1941, he became the Commandant of Toyohashi Reserve Officers' Cadet School before becoming the General Officer Commanding the South Seas Detachment in New Guinea. He committed suicide in 1943.[1]
