Kankazgan Formation

The Kankazgan Formation is a Mesozoic geologic formation in Kazakhstan.

Vertebrate paleofauna

Fossils that have been recovered from the formation include indeterminate dromaeosaurids, ornithomimids, ceratopsians, scapherpetonids, and tyrannosauroids, but also fossils of the azhdarchid pterosaur Azhdarcho.[1][2][3][4]
