Early life

Gurav's grandfather Ganapatrao Gurav was a first batch disciple of Abdul Karim Khan, founder of Kirana gharana. By the age of 5, he had started systematic training in classical singing from his father Sangmeshwar Gurav. He is a Gold Medallist of M.A. Music from Karnatak University.

Career

He has several albums to his credit. He is the youngest Hindustani Classical vocalist to get a top grade by 'All India Radio' (India’s national radio channel) and 'Doordarshan' (India’s national television channel).

Gurav has performed in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Canada, Singapore, Australia, Dubai, Muscat, and Qatar.
