Kabadadaari

Kabadadaari[1] is an upcoming Indian, Tamil language neo noir thriller film[2][3] written and directed by Pradeep Krishnamoorthy[4],[5][6][7] produced by Dr. G.Dhananjayan of BOFTA Media Works of Creative Entertainers Productions and starring Sibi Sathyaraj[8] in lead role[9][10][11]. The film also features Nandita Swetha[12][13], Nassar and Jayaprakash[14][15] in supporting roles[16][17][18][19][20]. It is a remake of the Kannada -language film Kavaludaari (2018). The music and background score for the film is composed by Simon K. King[21]. Cinematography by Rasamathi. The film was also simultaneously made in Telugu as Kapatadhaari with Sumanth.

Production

Principal photography began on 1 November 2019, and ended in 65 working days. Director Pradeep Krishnamoorthy[22] makes his acting debut in this film.[23] It was announced that the first look poster will be released in March 2020 and the film will be released[24] in May 2020.[25] But, the post-production work came to a halt due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Kabadadaari is the first film to resume the dubbing following government guidelines.[26][27] Producer Dhananjayan thanked Nassar in twitter that he agreed to reduce from that salary by 15% and completed the dubbing. [28][29]
