K. Raghavendra Hitnal

K. Raghavendra Basavaraj Hitnal (born 1 June 1979) is a politician[1] from the state of Karnataka. He is a leader[2] of Indian National Congress. He won[3][4] twice as MLA from Koppal assembly constituency.

Personal life

He is a son of former politician K. Basavaraj Hitnal.[5][6] He married Smt Rachana, and has a son and a daughter. His brother Rajasekhar Hitnal was unsuccessfully contested[7][8][9] from Koppal in general elections 2019.

Career

He is a close aide[10][11] of former chief minister Siddaramaiah. He contested in general assembly elections in 2013,[12][13] 2018[14][15] from Koppal won the seat by defeating Karadi Sanganna Amarappa.
