Career

K Moorthy Kannan worked as an assistant director with Director P. Vasu. He making his directorial debut with Naalaiya Pozhuthum Unnodu (2007), starring, Prithvi Rajan, Karthika, J. Livingston, Velu Prabhakaran and Rohini. The film has music composed by film composer Srikanth Deva with lyrics by Yugabharathi & Kabilan (lyricist). It was released on 12 October 2007.[1] His next film was Saalaiyoram (2016), starring pandiarajan, Singampuli and Rajvarma and Sherina in lead roles, where actor Muthukaalai in a supporting role. The film is written and directed by K. Moorthy Kannan, The film will have music composed by Sethuraam and Maria Manohar, cinematography by Dinesh srinivas, edited by selvaraj (editor)| and produced by Murugan Subbarayan, Selva thiagarajan in his newly established Smiley pictures Productions. It was released on 5 October 2018.[2]
