Justo Abaunza

Justo Abaunza y Muñoz de Avilés(1778, Nicoya- El Salvador, 1872) was a Nicaraguan lawyer and politician. He served as the 25th and 27th President (then called Supreme Director) of Nicaragua from 1 April to 5 May 1851, and again from 4 August to 11 November 1851. He first served as Senator from April 4th to June 7th, 1850 (substituting Norberto Ramirez), and later from April 1st to May 5th 1851. He then served as Senator director from August 4th to November 11th 1851.

He was a relative of Enrique Bolaños, 82nd President of Nicaragua, as well as of both parents of his wife Lila T. Abaunza, First Lady of Nicaragua.
