Josh Burdon

Josh Burdon (born 5 September 1992) is an Australian racing driver and the 2016 Asian Formula Renault Series Champion. [1]

Career

As a third generation racer, racing was in his blood. Burdon began his racing career kart racing at 8 years old winning various titles. At 16 he was touted as a future talent and was awarded with a funded scholarship through CAMS the Confederation of Australian Motorsport to make the transition into racing cars. Burdon further progressed to competing internationally in 2012 and has gone on to win and compete in numerous racing series throughout the world. He has lived in France, America and is currently residing in China, also a sought after high performance driver coach. [2] [3] [4] [5]

Personal life

Burdon was born in Hobart, the capital city of Tasmania. He was educated at St Virgils College, a Roman Catholic boys school that puts much importance on sport. Graduated high school in 2008 and did not complete further studies after turning full focus to being a racing driver.
