  1. According to ÖBL (see link) almost the entire Schubert and Beethoven literature says that Jenger should already have been born in 1792 (or 1797), but found the prayer book of Jenger's father, Anton (1760-1840) clearly the year 1793. Already refers to this misconception Karl Becker, see Refs, p 16 Finally, there is also the nekrologische entry to Jenger in Wiener Zeitung in 1793 because his age as "63" is specified.
