Joey Jayne, a Navajo originally from New Mexico, now runs her own law office in Arlee, MT (since 2001). Jayne was a Democratic Party member of the Montana House of Representatives, representing District 15, from 2001 to 2008. She served as Justice of the Peace in Lake and Sanders Counties from 2012 - 2014, after Justice Chuck Walls was forced to resign due to harassment charges from his staff.
