Jo Tu Chahey

Jo Tu Chahey (Urdu: جو تو چاھے transl.Whatever you wish) is a 2019 Pakistani television series produced by Momina Duraid under MD Productions. The cast includes Imran Abbas, Alizeh Shah, Ahmad Taha Ghani and Zarnish Khan in lead roles. The serial was earlier titled Kun Faya Kun but due to controversies and objections from religious group (Kun Faya Kun is a Quranic verse), the makers changed it to Jo Tu Chahey.[1][2][3][4][5][6]

Synopsis

The plot revolves around the importance of keeping faith in a higher power, a soulful romance and being careful what you wish for.

The story is about Mashal who is an orphan girl and lives with her grandma known as Apa Ji. Mashal's parents died in a car accident when she was 5 years old. She is mistreated by her aunts, Tayi Ammi, Shama Cachi, and her cousins; Bisma and Areesha.

The series ended on 5th June with its broadcast of its finale episode.

The series started off very well but soon saw a fall in TV ratings due to its draggeed narrative. However, with a change in focus, the show finally picked up some steam and ended up being in the list of top 10 trending drama's in Pakistan for the final few episodes.

On YouTube, the series has also managed to garner more than 3 million views on each of the its episode.
