Jeremy W. Peters

Jeremy W. Peters is a journalist and politics reporter for the Washington Bureau of the New York Times,[1][2] for which he covered the 2016 Presidential election. He is also an MSNBC contributor and has appeared on Washington Week in Review on PBS.[3]

Education

Peters gained his degree in history and political science from the University of Michigan.[4]

Career

When Peters was in his senior year at the University of Michigan he was a reporter and editor for The Michigan Daily and began contributing to The New York Times. He then worked for two years in the Virgin Islands for The Virgin Islands Daily News.[4][5]

He covers the Republican Party and the conservative movement for The New York Times, and is the author of the forthcoming and tentatively titled "Insurgency: The Inside Story of the Battle for the Soul of the Republican Party." The book is scheduled to be published by Crown Publishing Group in 2019.[5]
