Jeremy Swayman

Jeremy Swayman[1] (born 24 November 1998) is an American professional ice hockey goaltender. He currently plays for the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL), and played at the University of Maine in the NCAA.[2][3][4][5][6]

Playing career

Swayman played the 2015–16 season in the USHL with the Tri-City Storm and the 2016–17 season with the Sioux Falls Stampede also in the United States Hockey League (USHL).[7] After junior hockey he went to the University of Maine starting with the 2017–18 season where he played 31 games and went 15–12–3 with a 2.72 Goals against average (GAA), a .921 Save percentage and 1 shutout.[8] In November 2019, he was named Hockey East Player of the Week.[9]

Swayman signed with the Boston Bruins on March 17, 2020 after the conclusion of his junior season at the University of Maine.[10] On March 18, 2020, Swayman was announced as a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award for the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey season.[11]
