Jeffrey Ross Gunter
Jeffrey Ross Gunter is an American businessman, dermatologist, health care executive, and philanthropist, currently serving as U.S. Ambassador to Iceland.[1][2]

Education
Gunter graduated and received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley in 1983, and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the USC School of Medicine in 1987.[3]
Career
Gunter is the founder of Jeffrey Ross Gunter, MD, Inc., which provides rural community dermatological healthcare to the Western United States. Gunter was also a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine.[3]
Gunter is a member of the board of directors of the Republican Jewish Coalition.[4]
On May 23, 2019 Gunter was nominated to serve as U.S. Ambassador to Iceland in the Trump Administration to succeed Robert C. Barber. Gunter presented his credentials to Guðni Th. Jóhannesson on July 2, 2019.[5][6]
