James Earnest

James Earnest was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly and the Wisconsin State Senate.

Biography

Earnest was born James Harrison Earnest in Franklin, Kentucky in 1818. In 1836, he moved to Shullsburg, Wisconsin.[1] He died in 1900.

Career

Earnest was a member of the Assembly four times. First, in 1852, second, from 1854 to 1855, third, from 1857 to 1857 and fourth, in 1877. He was a member of the Senate twice. First, from 1863 to 1864 and second, from 1867 to 1868. He was a Democrat.
