Jake Johnson is a British gymnast

Personal life

Johnson was born in 2002 in Low Ackworth, Pontefract and attended Carleton High School.[1] Also he studied at New College Pontefract

Career

He has taken part in competitions such as the British Gymnastics Championships (2016–18) coming in ninth all-round at the Liverpool Echo Arena in 2018.[2][3][4] He came 19th in the Men's Junior All-Around (U16).[5] He is a GB Junior Top Squad for gymnastics and is speculated to be a competitor at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

He trains with Leeds Gymnastics Club with his personal coach David Murray in their National Squad. He competes in floor, parallel bars, high bar, vault, pommel horse and rings.[6][1][7]
